ADD For iPhoto App Reviews

On my early 2008 Macbook Pro running iPhoto 9 this software works, but at a snails pace. I did a small batch at first, just as a test, and even finding duplicates 70 images took over 5 minutes to process. Im running a batch now that contains all of my photos from 2010 (about 4500 pictures), and it started at 8am this morning and its at about 70% complete now at at 5pm. I still have about 10,000 more pictures to process, and I dont look forward to the long wait. That said... this application is cheap, and it does what I want it t do. I just wish is was a bit faster.

No instructions included, says pix are flagged, yet no instructions on how to ID the flags on the pictures, no menu item to help you. The app is obviously doing something, yet it is not clear how the flags are displayed, which makes the app useless, if I cant see then delete the dupes. The developer needs to be specific on the steps to flag and see the flagged pix so you can delete it. I have 20,000 pix and I know there are at least 4000 dupes, yet this app is not a solution at all, just because it is cheap doesnt mean it is Ok to do nothing, raise the price and have it do something.

it is really bad, i waste my time with it, it ask for keywords and when you write it its not accepted

After an incident where I had to rebuild my iPhoto library I had many duplicates or triplicates. I got this to help with the process of removing them. The biggest problem was, every few photos it would tell me I needed to click on a button to allow it access to a file. It eventually stalled out and didnt finish the job.

I should have tried a little more research before purchasing. If you have hundres of duplicates, this will only point them out. You still need to select them in iphoto one by one to delete them. Speeds you up a fraction. There are programs that do this work for you. That’s what I’m looking for.
